Hi fellow disc lovers, A few pieces of news to share... 1) Winterleague 2010 session 1 is fast approaching (starts Tuesday January 12th and goes until March 2nd at the dome) so sign up soon as spaces are already filling up. you can sign up as an individual or get a group of friends and register a team! Registration forms are attached, as well as the 10 simple rules of ultimate. 2) Winterleague clinics! We'll be hosting a 1 hr clinic and pick up game on Tuesday January 5th at the dome at 9pm. This will be a great chance to learn the basics and a little more about the sport, get some questions you may have answered and also get a test run of the Quebec City Rules which will be implamented this coming season and will allow for even more time playing on the field. We highly encourage all those who desire to captain a team either now or in the future to come on out for this event! a second clinic will run on March 2nd (that's tuesday) at the dome during the week of march break as we prepare for season 2 of Winterleague (which will run for 9 weeks). Again, this will be a great opportunity to clarify questions and learn a few new tricks, so bring a friend and introduce them to Ultimate! 3) Meet your MUC board of directors! As the club continues to see mor eand more growth we're at a great point in the sports development here in Moncton and if you have any questions, thoughts or ideas, tell the club's board of Directors to help shape the future of the club.
